Primary Function of Position: Manage Project HOPE instructors and staff at the Rockwell campus, including supervision of instructors and staff, student discipline, and communication with sending schools and parents. Provide administrative support to the Instructional Director of Information Technology (IT) to include management of the department, instructional leadership, and instructional support for the ongoing development of innovative and exceptional learning experiences.

Essential Job Functions:
- Provide administrative supervision and support for Project HOPE on the Rockwell Campus.
- Support the Instructional Director of IT by providing instructional leadership, program planning, and strategically carrying out the vision for the department.
- Assist the Instructional Director of IT by helping to carry out the instructional framework.
- Provide administrative supervision and support for the IT department.
- Assist the Instructional Director of IT with student discipline for all programs within the department.
- Assist Instructional Director of IT to ensure all programs within the department meet Oklahoma Department of Career Tech (ODCTE) curriculum and third-party accreditation standards.
- Support instructors by helping to monitor student attendance, satisfaction, and academic progress.
- Work with the instructional staff to promote and support student organization activities and other district-wide student leadership opportunities.
- Coordinate and facilitate district-wide student leadership programs and activities.
- Work with the Special Services Advisor on student IEP and/or 504 documentation, meetings, and providing additional student services as needed.
- Actively participate in district committees, the department’s Advisory Committees, Assistant Instructional Directors meetings, and departmental team meetings.
- Collaborate with instructors and the Career Readiness Department (CRD) to develop and coordinate recruitment strategies for all programs within the department.
- Work closely with career advisors and sending school counselors to maintain continuous communication regarding recruitment opportunities, enrollment, and program development for the department.
- Work with instructional staff to incorporate Francis Tuttle’s Core Values into instructional practices and curriculum.
- Share the responsibility with the Instructional Director of IT to complete instructional staff evaluations utilizing the district approved evaluation instrument and processes; and collaborate with sending school principals regarding Project HOPE teacher evaluations.
- Assist the Instructional Director of IT with budget development and management for the department.
- Support the Instructional Director of IT on the management of the facilities and ensuring overall department/campus safety.
- Work closely with the district safety coordinator and district-wide SRO officers.
- Ability to be present on the job as described under working conditions and contract details.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Master’s degree required with emphasis in education preferred.
- Secondary Principal Certification required.
- Oklahoma Career Tech Administrative Certification required.
- Experience with customer relations is a plus. Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
- Demonstrate ability in leadership, supervision of staff and experience with secondary students.
- Experience in working with adult and alternative students preferred.
- 3 years of successful teaching, supervisory or administrative experience preferred.
- Ability to understand and meet critical deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong written communication demonstrated in both letter and email.
Working Conditions:
Long periods of sitting, ability to lift 10-25 lbs; low-level machine noise is encountered the majority of every day; concentrated visual effort is required; extensive communication with internal and external customers. Some overnight travel due to student organization events and activities. Reliable, dependable and punctual attendance. Organizational Relationship:
Full-time exempt, certified personnel position reports directly to the Insturctional Director of Information Technology. Evaluated annually in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy.
Contract Details: Twelve-month contract subject to annual renewal. Working days and hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
