We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Information Technology to lead our IT department in aligning technology initiatives with our strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of implementing and managing advanced IT solutions, with a focus on enhancing data and analytics capabilities. This leadership role will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, ensuring data security, and supporting the organization's growth over the next five years.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:- Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT strategies with overall business goals.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that supports Ross & Yerger's vision for data-driven decision-making.
- Lead efforts to enhance data and analytics capabilities, ensuring the organization can make informed decisions based on reliable data.
- Oversee the implementation and management of advanced analytics tools and technologies.
- Assess and optimize the current IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability and security. Includes evaluation and determination of an appropriate virtual environment.
- Implement and maintain cloud-based solutions to support the organization's evolving needs.
- Provide strong leadership to the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Develop and mentor team members, encouraging continuous learning and skill development.
- Establish and enforce data governance practices to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations and implement measures to ensure compliance.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with IT vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality service delivery.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to meet the organization's needs.
- Facilitate seamless integration of IT services for both on-site and remote employees.
- Implement collaboration tools and technologies to enhance communication and coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within IT, preferably as a Director or equivalent.
- Strong background in data and analytics, with a track record of implementing successful initiatives.
- Experience managing IT infrastructure, including cloud-based solutions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
- Familiarity with the insurance industry is a plus.
