Our goal at SeaQuest is to ensure guests have a one-of-a-kind experience interacting with animals from all over the world. SeaQuest is looking for an Information Technology (IT) Assistant responsible for installing and maintaining company technology and operating systems. This position will provide technical assistance and support for our SeaQuest Aquariums and its Management teams. This Position will also be responsible for inspecting the use of technology to ensure functionality and efficiency. This job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the job described. It may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of the employer.
Responsibilities:- Remote and onsite installation of computers, POS systems, and other technical equipment for multiple company locations.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and install: Data/Wi-Fi Networks, CCTV systems, TVs and displays, sound systems, phone systems, computers, tablets, kiosks, printers, cell phones, vending machines, computer hardware, and software.
- Under the direction of a supervisor, manage outages, dispatching, billing, and/or customer relations.
- Evaluate operations according to established goals.
- Inspect the use of technology to ensure functionality and efficiency.
- Train users in managing and using technology and operating systems.
- Monitor user activities to detect problems and support end-users.
Requirements:- 2 years prior IT experience required
- Experience in installation, analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications.
- Experience with Analog and IP Based CCTV Systems
- Experience with Audio Systems
- Experience with Phone Systems (VoIP and Analog)
- Knowledge and understanding of Cabling
- Network, Sound and CCTV Systems
- Understanding of computer systems (hardware and software), networks, etc.
- Proficient in Troubleshooting the above-mentioned systems
- Familiar with Spreadsheets and word processing software
- Organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Google Workspace a plus
Education:- A degree in the related field is preferred but not necessary
Schedule:- Hybrid remote position
