Bryan Nelson P.A. is a well-established Law Firm based in Hattiesburg, MS. We are seeking a self- motivated full-time Attorney who wants the opportunity to take advantage of an established book of business. Experience in civil litigation is preferred, but not required. Connections to Hattiesburg or Pine Belt area encouraged.

We are looking for a self-motivated, dedicated and professionally aggressive employee that has potential to grow into a shareholding partner over time. Candidates must be good oral and written communicators, be well organized, and willing to work with others.

Job Responsibilities- responsible for multiple matters across varying types of law, but primarily insurance defense. Cases will include premises liability, auto accidents, construction defects, commercial disputes, and some wills and estates. Minor settlements, wrongful death approvals, civil litigation from start to finish including pleadings, written discovery, analyzing claims made, reports to clients, depositions, and trial. Maintain full schedule including hearings, depositions, and court conferences. Must work well with staff under the direction of supervising attorney. Adhere to all billing standards and practices, including daily time entries. Work to develop and bring in new clients to the firm.

Education- Bachelor’s Degree, Juris Doctor, AND Member of The Mississippi Bar.
