· Responsible of stocking and checking what is needed for ordering
· Contribute ideas to the menus
· Proper sanitation procedures
· Keeping accurate records
· Assisting in hiring assistants for the department
· Prepare baked goods and breads
· Decorate and present baked goods and pastries in a beautiful way
· Meet with clients on tastings and customize for their needs based on our capabilities
· Identify staffing needs and speak with Executive Chef
· Train new staff underneath you
· Stay up on new trends in the industry
· We bake wedding cakes for our clients and want creative and inventive cakes.
Salaried Position that works 50 hours a week, weekends are a must, wedding cake experience is a must.
EDUCATION
High school graduate or equivalent preferred
EXPERIENCE
Basic baking knowledge and experience preferred
