Assistant Photographer jobs in Grand Rapids, MI

As a Photographer's Assistant, you will support professional photographers in various aspects of their work, contributing to the overall success of photoshoots and projects. Needed to help with photoshoots of local Grand Rapids sports teams, senior photos, and other shoots in the picture taking, editing and behind the scenes work.

*Duties*

- Assist in setting up lighting equipment and backdrops for photoshoots

- Handle and organize photography equipment during shoots

- Help with photo editing, retouching, and post-production tasks

- Collaborate with photographers on creative projects and art direction

- Manage social media platforms and engage with followers

- Support sales efforts by showcasing photography work to potential clients

*Qualifications*

- Experience with photography

- Proficiency in photo manipulation software for editing images

- Experience in social media management for promoting photography work

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
