We are seeking a dedicated Material Handling Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of the service department, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient workflow.
****PLEASE NOTE**** This IS NOT an automotive service manager job. Prior experience in the forklift industry a MUST.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of service technicians
- Schedule and prioritize service appointments
- Ensure quality control of all repairs and maintenance services
- Provide guidance and support to staff on technical issues
- Uphold safety standards and compliance with regulations
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
Qualifications
- Prior experience in material handling service management a must.
- Strong knowledge of forklift repair and maintenance processes
- Ability to diagnose forklift issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Proficiency in upselling additional services or repairs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership skills to motivate and develop team members
- Certification or training in forklift mechanics is a plus
