Monitors activities of the student government and student clubs. Being an Assistant Student Activities Director typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a Student Activities Director. The Assistant Student Activities Director supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes.     Schedule:   Full Time

    Salary:   $58,000 - $60,000 annually – based on experience

    Activities Director Responsibilities include:

    •        Manages all aspects of the Activity Program
    •        Supervise, develop, and schedule all Activity staff to include drivers and activity assistants according to PSL policies, procedures, and standards
    •        Responsible for ordering and maintaining adequate Activity department supplies
    •        Ensure that activity rooms/areas are prepared for scheduled activity program
    •        Manages the PSL Discovery Tool (Social History and Assessment), including completing monthly activity calendar, and all move in actions related to activities for all residents

    Activities Director Education & Experience:

    •        Bachelor’s degree in recreation or related field with one-year related experience and/or training preferred  OR
    •        Associate degree in recreation or related field with related work experience  OR
    •        3-5 years full-time experience working with adult recreation
