The hospital’s heart attack treatment times consistently beat the national average and the hospital offers two cardiac catheterization labs available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.     Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    Assists Emergency Department Nurses and Physicians in delivering high quality patient centered care and maintains supplies and equipment in the Emergency department. This position also functions as a unit coordinator providing clerical support.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • One year previous direct patient care in an emergency department ambulance fire or emergent pre-hospital setting required.
    • Current BLS certification required.
    • Current EMT-B or EMT-P license (effective January 1 2021 for all hires/transfers) required.
    • Basic knowledge of medical terminology required.

    Preferred:

    • EKG experience preferred.
