Assistant Treasurer jobs in Miami, FL

Assistant Treasurer assists in the direction and management of an organization's treasury activities. Oversees and directs all aspects of daily treasury activities. Being an Assistant Treasurer ensures financial transactions, policies, and procedures fulfill the organization's objectives, needs, and regulatory body requirements. Assists with the corporate banking, credit, and investment functions. Additionally, Assistant Treasurer requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Assistant Treasurer manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Assistant Treasurer typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     • Monitoring overall Company financial health and financial covenant compliance and providing ongoing advice for potential improvements and risk mitigation
    • Partnering with the business on major initiatives to deliver subject matter expertise in the above areas.
    • Leading projects and special reviews, ensuring delivery on an agreed time frame or schedule – either as a project leader or on an individual basis
    • Providing leadership and direction to the team, ensuring appropriate resourcing with qualified people, maintaining their ongoing training and development and regularly reviewing their performance against previously agreed performance standards and on-going work plans.
