Job Duties

• Supports and practices the philosophy, nursing objectives and standards of the Nursing Department.
• Provide clinical expertise to facilitate and supervise quality of care.
• Identify safety concerns and takes appropriate actions to assure patient safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing and/or the Administrator.
• Participating in orientation sessions for nursing service personnel.
• Assist in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for residents, employees and visitors.
• Monitors and reviews resident incidents to identify possible compliance issues and to identify patterns that might require preventive intervention.
• Assists in implementation of infection control policies and procedures as outlined in the facility’s program, as directed.

Required Education and Experience

• Must possess a current, active license to practice as a RN in the State
• Must be knowledgeable of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to nursing facility administration.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Computer literacy skills (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Internet)
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, stand for long periods of time and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
