The University of Mary invites applications for a full-time position in Biology to begin Fall 2024. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience. A doctorate degree in Biology, or a closely related field, is required by the time of employment. This position will involve teaching majors and non-majors introductory biology courses as well as courses in the applicant’s area of expertise.
While candidates with expertise in any area of biology are invited, applicants with an interest in wildlife or conservation biology are strongly encouraged to apply. A willingness to take a leadership role in our active Wildlife Management & Conservation Biology Concentration would be beneficial. Applicants should understand, support, and advance the liberal arts, excel in teaching at the undergraduate level, and be willing to join other active program faculty in developing a research agenda appropriate for participation by undergraduate science majors (www.umary.edu/SURVE).
