    Mobile Ultrasound Sonographer

    Overview:
    Our Award-Winning Client, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare excellence, is seeking a dedicated Mobile Ultrasound Sonographer to provide diagnostic imaging services across diverse healthcare environments, including nursing homes, home care facilities, prisons, and processing sites. This position involves traveling to patient locations, operating portable sonographic equipment, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Equipment Transport & Setup: Safely transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment at various healthcare locations to perform physician-ordered exams.
    • Diagnostic Imaging: Conduct and process sonographic exams, ensuring the capture of clinically diagnostic and technically accurate images. Submit images digitally for Radiologist interpretation.
    • Documentation Management: Complete and submit daily exam-related paperwork and billing accurately in accordance with established protocols.
    • Effective Communication: Collaborate professionally with team members, management, dispatch, and clients to ensure seamless service delivery.

    Qualifications:

    Required Skills and Certifications:

    • Driver’s License: Valid Regular Driver’s License (DL).
    • Sonography Credentials: Possess one of the following certifications:
    • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
    • Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
    • ARRT certification
    • Vascular Ultrasound Certification: Must have one of the following:
    • ARDMS certification
    • CCI Vascular Ultrasound certification
    • Education: Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
    • Covid-19 Vaccination: Proof of up-to-date Covid-19 vaccination is required.
    • Clinical Compliance: Maintain current certifications, health requirements, and professional standards.
    • Driving Compliance: Provide driver credentials upon request and comply with periodic license checks.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Expertise in dual modalities (General/Vascular or Echo/Vascular) is highly desirable.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Equipment Handling: Lift and transport equipment bags weighing up to 18–20 pounds using a wheeled cart.
    • Cart Maneuvering: Pull cart up to 250 feet with an initiating force of 10 pounds and sustained force of 5–8 pounds.
