    Job Summary

    Key Responsibilities

    • Mammography Exams: Perform mammographic imaging while following strict safety and quality standards.
    • Patient Preparation: Guide patients through procedures, explain processes, and administer contrast when required.
    • Technical Quality: Use appropriate imaging techniques to ensure high-quality diagnostic results.
    • Data Management: Enter and manage patient data with accuracy and efficiency.
    • Quality Assurance: Perform equipment quality checks and assist with accreditation processes.
    • Incident Reporting: Notify management of any accidents, equipment issues, or complaints.
    • Emergency Response: Provide on-call support for departmental emergencies.
    • Policy Adherence: Maintain compliance with all policies, standards, and safety protocols.
    • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and skill enhancement opportunities.
    • Team Collaboration: Mentor junior staff and contribute to departmental success.
    • Patient Safety: Prioritize the safety and comfort of patients, visitors, and staff while meeting budgetary goals.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Education: Graduate of accredited Radiologic and Mammography Technology programs.
    • Licenses/Certifications:
    • Basic or Advanced Life Support Certification.
    • Texas Medical Board (MRT) license (current or temporary).
    • Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT-R).
    • Registered Mammography Technologist (ARRT-M).
    • Experience/Skills:
    • Ability to lift and maneuver patients with assistance.
    • Strong commitment to compassionate care, teamwork, and accountability.
    • New graduates with Mammography Tech registry are welcome to apply.

    Preferred:

    • Previous experience as a Mammography Technologist.
    • Experience in an outpatient imaging center setting.
