    Lecturer A/2 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $4,530 – $6,056 per month
    Lecturer B/3 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $5,405 – $11,994 per month
    Lecturer C/4 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $6,190 – $13,172 per month
    Lecturer D/5 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $7,794 – $13,797 per month

    Anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience. Most new lecturers are hired at the Lecturer A or B rank. See the Faculty Salaries At-a-Glance guide for more information.

    Position Summary:

    The Computer Science Department in the College of Engineering, Computer Science & Construction Management is collecting application materials for a pool of part-time lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2024-25 academic year. Appointments from the part-time pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    The minimum education requirement for a lecturer appointment is a master's in computer science, strong English verbal communication skills, programming and technical skills appropriate for courses taught, and the ability to teach undergraduate computer science courses.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Work experience in the software industry. Previous teaching experience at the college level. Bilingual candidates will be given preference.

    Responsibilities:

    Lecturer positions in the department carry responsibilities in the area of teaching one or more courses. This includes delivering lectures, creating/grading assignments, and creating/grading exams. Some courses include learning activities. Teaching assignments are based upon qualifications of the individual and the needs of the department.
