Education and ExperienceGraduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN or upon hire BSN completion agreement for enrollment in an accredited BSN Completion ProgramMay require specific years of applicable experience to qualify (per department guidelines)If hired prior to 1-1-14 in Winnebago County and prior to 9-1-14 in Rock, Walworth and McHenry Counties an ADN only is required.
Certification and LicensureLicensed as an RN in state of practiceApproved CPR certification required within 90 days (Other certification per unit requirements: ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP)
Skills and AbilitiesRequires excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks and project components. Requires excellent teaching, educational, and organizational skills. Assignments are based on abilities and are normally received in the form of results expected and due dates. Only general procedures are available to guide work. Able to work with minimal supervision. May be required during implementation phases of software products to be on-call and work flexible hours.
