Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Drama typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks.     Position: RN - Antepartum

    Responsibilities:

    • Patient Care: Assess, identify nursing diagnoses, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Develop and coordinate care plans to achieve patient goals, optimize outcomes, and ensure smooth transitions across the care continuum. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as necessary. Maintain essential competencies for the specific area of hire and populations served.
    • Advocacy and Ethics: Advocate for ethical and holistic care by collaborating in care planning to promote autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs of those we serve.
    • Learning Environment: Create a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members. Facilitate both formal and informal learning opportunities for the healthcare team and community.
    • Safety and Quality: Ensure safety by identifying and addressing issues, integrating evidence and best practices into nursing care, and using data to improve patient outcomes. Emphasize patient, self, and environmental safety for optimal results.
    • Professional Growth: Engage in continuous professional development, practice within the legal parameters of the Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Social Policy Statement, ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, and specialty standards. Promote a culture of inquiry and integrate evidence-based practice.
    • Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and coordinate teams, delegate appropriately, and collaborate with others as equal members of the inter-professional care team. Model professional behaviors representative of the nursing profession.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
    • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
    • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
    • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
    • 1 year of Antepartum Nursing experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • National Certification in the area of specialty upon hire.
