Assoc. Professor - Geological Sciences teaches courses in the discipline area of geological sciences. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Assoc. Professor - Geological Sciences provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Geological Sciences typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Associate Professor for the Bio-Medical Sciences Department

  • Creighton University is seeking to hire an Associate Professor for the Bio-Medical Sciences Department in the School of Medicine. 

     

    Special consideration will be to candidates utilizing various translational approaches to auditory diseases, including drug development, genomic predisposition, and/or etiologies of hearing loss, animal models, research audiology and clinical applications.

     

    Appointees will be expected to conduct a vigorous independent research program and participate in graduate and professional student teaching.

     

     

    Qualifications

    - Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. degree required. 

    - Recent significant research and scholarly accomplishments. 

    - Applicants should have R-01 level funding.
