    Summary of Position

    Quail Run is a premier private club and condominium association dedicated to providing a warm and welcoming experience for our owners and members. We are seeking a passionate and reliable barista to join our team.


    Requirements

    • Minimum 1 year of experience as a barista, preferably in a high-end or fast-paced environment
    • Current, valid food handler's certification
    • Demonstrated expertise in crafting a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages
    • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and deliver personalized service to members
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently, often in a solo environment
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
    • Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude


    Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

    • Craft and serve high-quality espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and other hot and cold beverages, including blended drinks, to members following established recipes and presentation standards.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating member needs and exceeding expectations with a friendly and professional demeanor.
    • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked barista station, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols.
    • Perform opening and closing duties, including preparing equipment, replenishing supplies, and cleaning the work area.
    • Learn and adhere to all club policies and procedures.
    • Contribute to a positive and professional work environment.


    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

    • Coffee shop knowledge (coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, etc.)
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask – fulfill orders, operate POS (Point of Sale) system, etc.
    • Continually enhancing skills and knowledge to be a more effective Barista
    • A team player dedicated to providing exceptional service to a prestigious clientele
    • Ability to work alone or in a team environment
