Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Assoc. Professor - Liberal Arts provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Liberal Arts typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. MCLA is looking for a fitness center attendant for additional coverage while students are on break. The position will be required to have great customer service skills, work independently and be able and willing to keep the facility clean and sanitized.
The position will be responsible for:
Sign users into the membership software portal.
Assist users with signing up for a membership if needed.
Ensure users check in to the facility.
Complete daily cleaning tasks.
Ensure a safe facility.
Report any emergencies or issues with equipment.
Job Requirements:
Strong customer service.
Organized.
Attention to detail.
Ability to function independently without supervision.
Additional Information:
This is a temporary, part-time position paying $15.00 per hour.
