FSCJ is committed to embracing innovation. A key quality we seek in an AP-LAS is the ability to balance a future-oriented vision as part of the College's broader strategic plan with the daily hands-on demands of academic leadership at a large, dynamic college. Effectively achieving this balance requires strong communication and relational skills with faculty and administrators, a capacity for interest-based problem solving, and an approach to “getting things done” that is highly collaborative, adaptive, ethical, and characterized by a willingness to address challenges directly and with care.
