Pittsburgh area School Music Dealer has an immediate part time opportunity for an individual with wind or orchestral string instrument background.

Job responsibilities include:

- Providing customers with up-to-date information on instruments, accessories, and print music

- Maintaining store displays, appearance, and stock, and transferring inventory between stores

- Assisting customers with new rentals and providing service throughout their rental agreement

- Reaching out to our customer base regarding various store promotions via phone and email

- Facilitating communication between students and private lesson instructors

- Accepting instruments for repair and informing customers of proper instrument care procedures

- Communicating with teachers, staff, and customers about logistics of school deliveries and returns

- Working to uphold a strong sense of community and make our customers feel welcome

Candidates must be available to work evening and weekend hours, and must provide their own transportation to work.

Part-time work is immediately available. A new hire must successfully complete a 90-day probationary period before their position is considered permanent. Potential for later promotion to full time work is possible subject to performance and availability.
