Our Award Winning Client is a renowned leader in the healthcare industry, operating nationally and honored with numerous accolades for their commitment to excellence. They are currently seeking a Nursing Manager to join their dynamic team in the Emergency Department (ED).

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of unit/departmental goals, policies, and standards of care.
• Coordinate service area activities, including staffing and scheduling, to ensure efficient operations and optimal patient care.
• Utilize data for operational decision-making, improving care delivery efficiencies.
• Assist with budget preparation and resource allocation, managing variances effectively.
• Foster staff engagement in problem-solving and improvement initiatives.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate educational and professional development programs.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, licensure, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the implementation and evaluation of the unit's Performance Improvement/Risk Management/Safety Program.
• Directly manage employee engagement and people management processes.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) OR other healthcare-related Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in Emergency Department operations and leadership capabilities essential.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant healthcare experience, preferably in an Emergency setting.
• Prior leadership experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in Emergency.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification by American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California mandatory.
