Assoc. Professor - Physics teaches courses in the discipline area of physics. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Assoc. Professor - Physics provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Physics typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Pacific Crest Medical Physics is seeking a Medical Physicist Assistant for a full time position in beautiful Northern California. Vallejo is surrounded by many outdoor activities and is near some of the most desirable west coast destinations, including San Francisco, Lake Tahoe and Napa Valley.
Candidates are expected to assist with treatment planning, machine QA and patient-specific QA. Equipment includes Varian and Elekta linacs.
Minimum of Master’s degree in Medical Physics from a CAMPEP-approved program, graduation from CAMPEP approved residency or equivalent work experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
