Milestones Psychology & Therapy is a growing practice offering psychology, counseling, speech and occupational therapy services to the greater Wiregrass area. We are looking for a vibrant, organized, and self-motivated person who can work in an energetic office environment. This job requires strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will have experience in medical records, front desk training (in an office setting), some medical terminology, and medical insurance/billing.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Check patients in and out of appointments; collect patient co-pays
• Confirm appointments and coordinate provider schedules
• Request and obtain medical records with HIPPA compliance
• Answer multi-line phone systems; answering patient questions and returning voicemails in timely manner
• Update patient information and upload records to electronic health record systems
• File and organize patient charts
• Provide great customer service to patients during all interactions
