Position Summary: Admits patients to healthcare programs and facilities by maintaining admission guidelines; marketing programs; obtaining applicant information; screening applicants; completing admissions process; resolving patient dissatisfactions.
Qualifications: Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. Must have knowledge and understanding of admission procedures and insurance requirements. Must be able to work after hours and weekends.
Education: High School, some college preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: None Required
Experience Required: Skilled nursing admitting experience preferred. Will consider experience in other areas of health care billing.
