QA Manager Food ($85k 46% Bonus)

Our client a large production facility of Beans has been providing global presence for over 100 years is seeking a talented person as a QA Manager near Knoxville TN east of and south east of Eau Claire WI during the night shift to start. (relocation available - no sponsorship)

• The role of the Quality Assurance Manager is to establish, implement and maintain the measures and systems to assure that all raw materials and finished goods meet specification standards, customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
• Develop/define quality management SOP’s, policies and related systems such as HACCP
• Advise plant personnel on food quality, specifications, formula and process
• Develop in-process product quality checks to assure consistency and product integrity
• Provide oversight and direction to staff
• Responsible to ensure food safety/quality polices are followed, to report all food safety/quality
• Develop action plan to mitigate any future issues.
• Act as liaison with regulatory agencies
• Prepare compliance reports for senior management
• Stay abreast of the latest advances in the development, quality improvement
• Communicate any changes to staff and other personnel

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree Required
• 5 – 7 years in a hands on management experience in a food manufacturing facility
• Knowledgeable of hot filled, acidified foods (AF) preserving and handling
• Experienced with FDA, USDA, CFR, PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual)
• Trained as a SQF practitioner and HACCP certified

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $117,000.00 per year
