    This is an in-person, onsite role in the WNY area.

    Responsibilities:

    • Negotiate best vendor terms, pricing, and delivery based on specific budget and schedule requirements.
    • Adhere to purchasing policies, processes, and procedures.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain warehouse and inventory control policies and procedures.
    • Coordinate product deliveries utilizing knowledge of material work planning and methods of engineering processes.
    • Maintain appropriate records to guide future purchase needs.
    • Generate and send new purchase orders to vendors.
    • Review requisitions, prepare purchase orders, and bid requests.
    • Communicate with vendors to review order status and address discrepancies in quantity, quality, and pricing.
    • Interface with all departments to resolve problems and issues as necessary.
    • Review bid proposals and negotiate contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain internal inventory control systems.
    • Assist other departments when required.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

    Qualifications:

    • 2 Years of experience in a buyer or similar role.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Proficient time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
    • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Capability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary.
    • Ability to function effectively in a high-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, as well as Manufacturing Software.
    • Collaborative work ethic.
