Assists in purchasing materials, supplies and services at the most favorable terms for the organization. Being an Associate Buyer may require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Tracks purchases, monitors vendor quality, and maintains a current database of vendor information. In addition, Associate Buyer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being an Associate Buyer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Working as an Associate Buyer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Responsibilities Include:
- Being friendly, courteous and energetic everyday
- Sort and appraise incoming inventory
- Processing and cashiering while being friendly with our great customers
- Restocking--we make sure our customers always have new things to find
- Learning Kid-to-Kid's systems and procedures (Don’t worry we help by providing online and in store training!)
- Handling all returns courteously and professionally
- Sharing our current promotional events and sales with customers in the store and online
- Maintaining good housekeeping
What Makes You a Great Fit?
