Associate Dean of Continuing Education assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of continuing education. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Continuing Education provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Continuing Education typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Continuing Education typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Statement of Primary Purpose
Provides internal auditing and reporting of FTE data in compliance with State Board of Community College Code and the College's Accountability and Integrity Plan. Ensures accurate record keeping and reporting of the Institutional Class Report each term for Continuing Education and College and Career Readiness.

Physical Demands
Occasional lifting/moving of boxes of paper, contracts, files, registration forms, etc. Ability to sit for long periods and perform routine office work and data entry.

Working Conditions and Environment (i.e., necessary travel, unusual work hours, unusual environmental conditions, etc.)
Occasional work on weekends or nights. Travel to off campus centers and locations within the state for meetings, training and testing.
