The Assistant Dean of Nursing is responsible in collaboration with the Dean of Nursing to assist with providing leadership in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing program. This involves assisting with recruitment and hiring of faculty, creating course schedules and accompanying faculty assignments, facilitating curriculum development, participating in program evaluation, assisting in the resolution of student and faculty issues. The Assistant Dean may have some teaching duties. They report to the Dean of Nursing and interacts regularly with the other departments with the college with respect to the needs of the nursing programs for instructional resources.
