Being an Associate Dean of Fine Arts provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Fine Arts typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Fine Arts typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. RJI is looking for an individual ready to build a successful career in a leading retailer of fine jewelry in Utah & Wyoming. The Fine Jewelry Consultant will be responsible for supporting in his/her responsibilities and leading the team in store sales. These will include achieving store goal, community outreach, store growth planning, administrative work, shipping & receiving and overall goal planning. The FJC role will be responsible for identifying and fulfilling our customer's jewelry needs, as well as maximizing personal and store performance. The FJC will undergo a comprehensive and intense training that teaches all the facets of the retail fine jewelry industry. This will include building lifetime relationships with customers, selling and performing sales presentations on jewelry either in stock or custom pieces, inspecting jewelry, quoting repair pricing, learning features and benefits of various types of merchandise. This position will also require some mechanical knowledge to help with minor watch repair and minor jewelry repair.
