Associate Dean of Law assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of law. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Law provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Law typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Law typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be an Associate Dean of Law typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Associate Attorney
The candidate must be a North Carolina Licensed Attorney, should have a J.D from an ABA approved law school and be active member in good standing of the bar. Zero-Three years’ experience. Focus will be in criminal, immigration, family law and possibly some personal injury.
Admission to South Carolina Bar would be a plus in addition to being a bilingual (Spanish)
