Associate Dean of Law assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of law. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Law provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Law typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Law typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be an Associate Dean of Law typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. · The position is 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday with an hour of unpaid lunch.

· Support consists of:
· Drafting Legal Documents
· Administrative Assistance to Supervising Attorneys
. Client Calls, Handling Payments, Onsite Interaction
· Various Administrative & Clerical tasks
· Time Entries
· Arranging Meetings
· Calendaring
· Mailings
· Answering Phones
· Other administrative tasks, all while providing excellent vendor and client services.
Essential Qualifications include:
· Strong organizational skills
· Team-oriented
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure while exhibiting patience
· Proficient typing skills
· Legal/procedural research skills
· Familiarity with legal technology and computer databases, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Outlook/Word) and legal billing software
· Our ideal candidate enjoys working in a demanding environment and has two or more years of family law experience (administrative or paralegal).

· Salary will be commensurate with experience
