Associate Dean of Nursing assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of nursing. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Nursing provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Nursing typically reports to a Dean. The Dean of the School of Nursing supports the mission of SUNY Delhi by providing strategic vision, leadership, supervision, and administration of pre-licensure, online RN to BSN and MSN academic programs. The Dean is responsible for developing strategies for student recruitment, retention, and to achieve targeted enrollment, as well as selection, support, and supervision of divisional faculty and staff. Demonstrated experience in teaching, technology, academic leadership, scholarship, and accreditation is required. As an effective communicator and collaborator at all levels within the school of nursing, campus, and community, the Dean will work closely with both academic and administrative areas of the College.
Education/Licensure:
Experience: Successful academic administrative and teaching experience in diverse levels of education required. Preference will be given to candidates with both on-ground and on-line teaching experience.
