Associate Dean of Sciences jobs in Gastonia, NC

Exela Pharma Sciences, LLC., seeks a Purchasing Associate to join our team in Lenoir, NC. The Purchasing Associate is responsible for all aspects of completing SAP transactions related to procurement and documentation in support of producing pharmaceutical products following cGMP regulatory standards, and standard operating procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Review incoming purchase requests for accuracy
• Prepare purchase orders in SAP based on the purchase requests 
• Submit approved purchase orders to the supplier(s) and communicate estimated delivery dates to the individual/department requesting the material.
• Follow-up on purchase orders and update delivery dates in SAP based on revised information from the supplier(s).
• Coordinate with receiving to ensure accurate delivery of purchase orders
• Review past due purchase orders
• Keep supplier information up to date in SAP
• Work under general supervision and within a team
• The Purchasing Associate will also perform other duties as assigned

Education Requirements

High School diploma   

Requirements  

• Minimum of 2 year’s purchasing experience
• Full understanding of the Procure to Pay process
• Must be able to read and write English
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to lift up to 50 pounds 
• Must have attention to detail, and handle multiple priorities in a fast paced env
• Beginner/Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• SAP experience
