Dean, Panuska College - Admin
Job Purpose:
Assist the Dean with the general administration of the Panuska College of Professional Studies.
Essential Duties:
- Oversee the curricular approval process for the College
- Assist with development of new programs and revision of existing programs
- Enforce compliance with departmental and University academic policies, regulations and requirements
- Oversee updates to the College undergraduate and graduate catalogs
- Manage the College academic master schedule
- Assist with management of annual faculty assignments
- Assist Dean with financial management of the College
- Manage the College assessment processes
- Oversee graduate orientations and award presentations
- Oversee academic progress of graduate students
- Support College retention efforts
- Approve graduate students for degree conferral
- Assist the Dean with development and implementation of the College strategic plan
- Oversee the College physical plant
- Assist the Dean with design, implementation and coordination of opportunities for faculty and students to engage in relevant, meaningful and reciprocal community-based teaching, learning and research- Assist Dean with supervision of College staff
- Support the hiring processes within the College
- Establish and maintain a cooperative, collegial work climate that enhances communication, trust and productivity of and among faculty and staff

- Must be able to respect, support and contribute to the Universitys Catholic and Jesuit mission
Minimum Education Requirements:
- Earned Doctorate in one of the disciplines of the College
Preferred Education:
Minimum Job Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as full-time faculty member in higher education

Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Additional hours as required.
