    Summary of Job Duties:

    This position will serve as the Associate MBA Director and will report to the MBA Director. The job duty areas include program management, experiential learning outcomes and internships, support in stakeholder management and strategic initiatives, and monitoring and reporting student performance.

    Given the nature of this role, the selected individual should be able to work some weekends and after hours with appropriate compensatory time.

    Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
    • Experience providing academic advising to university students

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
    • Master of Business Administration from an AACSB-accredited university
    • Knowledge of graduate business programs
    • Experience collaborating with corporate managers/recruiters
    • Experience working with graduate student recruitment at the U of A

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, and staff to build strong, productive relationships
    • Demonstrated ability to express compassion and empathy, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for both students and staff
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, ensuring smooth operations within a fast-paced and dynamic academic environment
    • Strong track record of meeting deadlines consistently, with the ability to deliver high-quality results under time constraints
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations, identify challenges, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
