  • Job Summary
    An integral part of the Academy’s administrative team, the Director of Enrollment Management is responsible for managing all facets of the admissions process in the Academy's effort to attract, enroll, and retain a diverse and dynamic student population.
    The Director of Enrollment Management reports to the President of Ursuline Academy and supervises the role of Student Data Manager.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    The Associate Director of Enrollment Management will:
    • Model the Ursuline values of service, courtesy, loyalty and courage by attitude and action. Integrate the Ursuline Mission and Core Values into all activities.
    • Provide supervision for the Student Data Manager position, including ongoing development feedback and annual evaluation of job performance.
    • Contribute to the mission and standards of the school by recruiting and retaining students who will benefit from the Academy’s unique culture and programmatic offerings and contribute to the community.
    • Formulate forward-thinking, strategic application, admission, and enrollment policies.
    • Manage Admissions essential duties to ensure a competitive admissions process, long-term health of the student body, and broader alumnae base:
    • prospective student / family recruitment and management
    • admission management (the tracking of prospective students from applicant to enrollment and beyond)
    • prospective student events and communications
    • ones student events and communications
    • student retention
    • utilize enrollment data and reports provided by the Student Data Manager
    • marketing and communications
    • Develop a strategic recruitment and communication plan to reach targeted audiences, including identifying and implementing best-practice web-based technologies. Work with the Director of Institutional Advancement, President, Principals, Business Office, and Student Data Manager, to recommend and set goals for the size and profile desired for various admission groups. Work closely with the Chief Operations Officer, Director of Institutional Advancement, Academy Principals, and President of the Academy to formulate consistent, strategic approaches to enrollment and retention. Administer Academy-wide scholarship program in consultation with the Director of Institutional Advancement and Chief Operations Officer, using data provided by the Student Data Manager. Identify potential donors - alumnae, parents, and the broader community - sharing and collaborating with the Office of Institutional Advancement. Stay updated on Admissions trends and best practices in private and independent education and share findings with Administrative Leadership team. Oversee Enrollment Office budgets and expenditures. Communicate clearly and enthusiastically to all staff and prospective students.
    Other Duties
    All positions will:
    • Seek out and share ideas for strategic, continuous improvement, with a mind to move the Academy toward strategic goals in all work.
    • Foster high ethical standards, integrity, confidentiality, and respect for colleagues, alumnae, parents, and students in all work.
    • Promote Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging in all aspects of work with the goal of Serviam - I Will Serve - always in mind.
    • Perform other reasonable duties as instructed by President of the Academy and direct supervisor.
    Qualification Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 2 years of experience in education or Enrollment / Admissions department
    Qualification preferences
    • 5 years of experience directing Enrollment / Admissions for a private / independent school
    • Demonstrated success with increasing enrollment in private or independent school setting
    • Supervisory / team leadership experience
    • Experience with Blackbaud or similar student data systems
    • Experience with Microsoft and Google Office Suites
