The Associate Director of Financial Aid is a full time, year-round position. This position provides high-level and technical leadership and direction to support financial aid applicants and the awarding processes.
Under the general direction of the Director of Financial Aid, the Associate Director of Financial Aid Systems provides strategic direction and administration of student financial aid programs through the effective implementation, development, and management of software. This position requires knowledge of and ability to interpret the complex financial aid rules, regulations, and applications of the Federal Department of Education and the State of Montana. The Associate Director applies systems analysis and project management tools and techniques in managing multiple projects. This position develops and implements related policies and procedures and will continually analyze current processes and student populations to further institutional, divisional and departmental goals such as recruitment and retention. The Associate Director also counsels students, parents, and the general public regarding financial aid requirements and processes. This position must have the ability to travel and assumes responsibility for the Financial Aid Office in the absence of the Director.
