    The Office of Admissions and Financial Aid at Siena College invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Admissions and Financial Aid. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is looking to be part of a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be positive, outgoing, organized and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. This candidate will have demonstrated success in organizing and executing concurrent, complex projects in both an independent and team environment.

    Essential duties:

    • The Assistant Director of Admissions and Financial Aid is responsible for, but not limited to, the following functions:
    • Build and maintain relationships with and advise prospective students and their families, from inquiry to enrollment.
    • Manage primary enrollment territory and travel calendar, including strengthening relationships and partnerships with school counselors and advisors.
    • Host and support virtual and on-campus events.
    • Work with current and prospective students and their families in the process of applying for, understanding and securing financial aid.
    • Responsible for the administration of institutional, federal and state aid programs in accordance with institutional policies, and federal and state regulations.
    • Represent Siena College at regional recruitment events, including college fairs and panels.
    • Promote a strong, clear, and differentiated brand position for Siena College to a variety of audiences.
    • Evaluate prospective applicant folders and provide admission recommendations
    • Contribute to overall enrollment management efforts as assigned

    Annual Salary: $60,500.00-$63,525.00

    • The hiring salary above represents the College's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany County Salary Transparency Law.

    Job Requirements:


    A bachelor's degree and strong communication skills are required. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and insurability at the time of appointment and must maintain such license and insurability throughout the tenure of employment. Must have excellent written and oral presentation skills. Extensive evening/weekend hours and travel are required. Knowledge of Siena and higher ed recruitment is a plus.

    A background screening will be required.
