Additionally, Associate Financial Aid Director typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to the Financial Aid Director. The Associate Financial Aid Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. The accounting and finance department is lean – we are seeking a Director of Finance who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and be a do-er – this person will be a jack of all trades Director helping with everything from mentoring the current team, financial reporting preparation, to posting and reviewing journal entries, completing and reviewing month-end close procedures and reconciliations, to grant / audit / annual budget support and much more.
