Associate Financial Aid Director jobs in Terre Haute, IN

Eastern Illinois University is seeking candidates for a Financial Aid Representative in the Office of Financial Aid. This is a front-line position, assisting students and parents at the front desk and by telephone and email. Primary duties include explaining the financial aid application procedure, eligibility, verification requirements, scholarship searches, loans, and other financial aid options. Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills are desired.

Qualified candidates must have any one or combination totaling two (2) years (24 months) from the categories below:

1. College coursework in any field.

• Associate Degree (60 semester hours) equals one (1) year (12 months).
• 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
• Bachelor’s Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)

2. Work experience performing office, business, or customer service/relations activities.

The Civil Service Examination for this classification is a credentials assessment. No participation other than submission of applicant materials is required from qualified applicants.
