Job Summary:
The Arkansas Commission for Parent Counsel (ACPC) is seeking applications for a part time attorney to represent parents in dependency-neglect cases in the 16th Judicial District (Cleburne, Fulton, Independence, Izard and Stone Counties. Responsibilities:
- Draft and review legal documents including contracts, agreements, and pleadings
- Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations
- Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders
- Assist in developing strategies for resolving legal issues
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the organization
Requirements:
-Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience in legal research, writing, and litigation
- Familiarity with legal administrative procedures
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively
-Administrative order 15 qualified preferred but will train if not
