Associate Laboratory Technician jobs in Everett, WA

Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full-time Laboratory Technician to join our diagnostic laboratory team!

Salary Range: Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $22 - $24 / hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Schedule may include weekend hours.

Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital is a large, multi-species hospital with a 24-hour access to in-house laboratory.

Responsibilities will include:

• Greeting outside customers and hospital employees at the laboratory front desk.
• Verifying the accuracy of information entered on order forms, labels, and entries made into our computer systems.
• Management and organization of lab records and other documents.
• Basic laboratory tasks like setting up tests, labeling samples, cleaning, and sterilizing equipment.
• Performing various laboratory tests such as CBC, manual differential, urinalysis, and fecal floats.
• Overseeing the organization of stored samples.
• Ensuring the accuracy of information and pricing for samples that are sent to outside testing facilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 years working in a veterinary laboratory
