Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented R&D Technician to join our Research and Development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production within a manufacturing plant environment, with experience in liquids and capsules. As an R&D Technician, you will play a key role in supporting various research and development activities, primarily weighing out benchtops and assisting in formulation development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately weigh out benchtops of raw materials for formulation development and product testing.
• Assist in the formulation and development of new liquid supplements and capsule products, following established protocols and procedures.
• Conduct stability testing and analysis to ensure product quality and shelf-life stability.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production to support product scale-up and commercialization.
• Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures, results, and observations.
• Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to product development and manufacturing processes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in the laboratory and manufacturing environments.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with liquid and capsule manufacturing processes and equipment preferred.
• Strong math skills with the ability to perform calculations accurately and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, primarily Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
• Experience with benchtop formulation development and laboratory equipment.
• Understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design.
