Associate Registrar
Summary:The Associate Registrar will be responsible for coordinating registrarial aspects of exhibition projects for the museum, including planning, budgeting, shipping, insuring, and installing/de-installing. They will work closely inside the Museum with the Curatorial and Exhibitions Departments and regularly outside the Museum with lenders and fine art companies to professionally execute all procedures and ensure that the policies and procedures are adhered to with regard to management, safe movement, proper care, and storage of the works included in exhibitions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Minimum of five years' experience in museum registration with strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to organize multiple projects simultaneously. Experience organizing exhibitions including budget preparation, fine arts insurance coverage, condition reporting, standard museum packing and crating methods, and international shipping and customs requirements. Ability and expertise to work independently. Excellent computer skills with experience in collection management software a plus. B.A. required. M.A. in Museum Studies, Art History or related field preferred.

Minimum of Hiring Range: $64,284/annually; commensurate with experience
Work Hours:Full-Time (37.5 hours/week). Benefits eligible on first day of employment.
