Asst. Professor - Civil Engineering jobs in Lima, OH

APA Solar is a national leading provider of solar racking with projects throughout the US. Seeking a Geotechnical or Civil Engineering Technician with a Geotechnical background to join our team and provide engineering support for our foundation / soil reporting.

Job Duties

• Support/advise foundation testing field services
• Create/develop testing methods, review quality and inspection process for foundation testing
• Complete foundation testing maps, review, analysis, and reporting of results
• Prepare calculation packages, technical reports and letters
• Participates in conceptual foundation design meetings with other engineering staff to reflect product design intent.
• Interfaces directly with the sales team, construction group, engineering team, and customers as needed to provide technical support

Position Requirements:

• Geotechnical/Construction foundation experience preferred
• BS in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering preferred or Associates degree in engineering related field with equivalent experience
• Project Management experience

• Willingness to learn new skills & processes
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products focusing on Word & Excel
• Strong verbal and written skills with working knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
