Job Summary:

The Hosted Voice Designer plays a crucial role in the design, implementation, and optimization of our hosted voice solutions. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in telephony systems, VoIP technologies, and networking. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network infrastructure and its integration with hosted voice services to ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure communications solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement hosted voice solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.
• Work closely with the networking team to ensure seamless integration of voice and data networks.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to recommend solutions that enhance communication efficiency and reliability.
• Develop and maintain documentation for voice network configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to hosted voice systems and network performance.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and trends in hosted voice and networking, recommending upgrades and improvements as necessary.
• Collaborate with sales and support teams to provide technical expertise and assistance in pre-sales and post-sales processes.
• Ensure compliance with all security policies and procedures in the design and deployment of voice solutions.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in VoIP technologies, SIP trunking, and IP PBX systems.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, LAN/WAN configurations, and QoS for voice and video traffic.
• Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols and standards (SIP, H.323, RTP).
• Familiarity with VoIP hardware and software solutions from various vendors, such as Cisco, Avaya, or Asterisk.
• Basic knowledge of networking platforms and required Volp integration capabilities.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills specific to VoIP issues.
• Experience with cloud-based communication platforms and services.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other teams and end-users.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and implementing hosted voice solutions, with a solid foundation in networking.
