Professor - Computer Science provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for computer hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve software and hardware problems.
- Set up and configure network devices, including routers, switches, and access points.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates and backups.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth operation of computer systems.
- Assist users with software installations and upgrades.
- Provide training and support to end-users on various applications and systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT procedures and user guides.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Computer Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software troubleshooting, including diagnosing and resolving issues related to operating systems (Windows), office applications (Microsoft Office), and network connectivity (TCP/IP).
- Familiarity with DNS configuration and network administration.
- Experience with Windows Server administration is a plus.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Knowledge of mobile devices (iOS, Android) is a plus.
